Open Studios Jewelry Preview

This Holiday Season I will be hosting my annual Open Studio event. The holidays are my favorite time of the year, with fond memories of family, Christmas, and gift-giving. As such, I give a great deal of attention to the collections I design for this time of the year.

While everyone else is going crazy over sweaters and pumpkins, my thoughts are on the dimming light. (Actually, Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons of the year). My designs begin to reflect a darker color palette, and my inspiration comes from the darker areas of the shoreline like the tidepools I visited in Big Sur last weekend, and my daily walks in the nearby open space, enjoying the leaf litter, dark cypress, and pine forest.

As a result, I have gone deep into darker blues, greens, butterscotch, browns, copper, gold, and garnet colors to reflect the color palette of this changing time of year.
