Welcome to June

Everyone I talk to is asking “How is it June already?” As the year flies by I wanted to jump in and thank everyone who came to my Open Studio last month. Welcome to the new people that have joined my Insiders Club! Now you will receive the latest on my upcoming collections, live shows, and jewelry sales.

June first is Global Day of Parents, something I have been reflecting on since I learned about the day. Many of us no longer have parents that are living or if we do we have stepped into the role of caring for them. Perhaps our children are grown now and parenting their own families. Parenting comes in so many forms, from kin keepers to pet moms. If you aren’t familiar with Kin Keeping there is a lot of fascinating information on the web. I first heard the term in a story in the New York Times, unfortunately they have a paywall. Psychology Today does a good job of defining it here.
